The SCO Group has landed $50 million in private financing from Baystar Capital, which it said it will use to expand its business and add strength to its multibillion-dollar legal battles with IBM and others. Those lawsuits focus on alleged use of SCO's proprietary Unix code in the Linux operating system. SCO also left open the possibility that it could make acquisitions or other moves, saying the cash could pave the way for "new strategic partnerships." The investment brings SCO's total cash on hand to about $61 million.

What Mr. McBribe means is this:" We have secured $$ to continue our litigation as business model. However we used and investment group to funnel M$ money this time so no one can trace the $$ back to Redmond." As far as SX0's software.. it is virtualy a dead issue. People who are using it in the petroleum industry are just clueless to the fact that other realtime os like qnx and others do a superior job compared to their outdated and Kludgey codebase. Mr. McBribe and his strategy have in effect made Sx0 software a pariah in the software, OS and IT world. Anything else he says, and has said for the last 6 months is purely for the press, and the Sx0 pump and dump stock scheme.
