So the election came to an end at last, and the people made their choice. All throughout the blogosphere, fireworks could be heard as Obama supporters reveled in their triumph. Long live the Internet, and the new political landscape it has produced! Things will never be the same again, that's for sure. Zeroing in on the Linux blogs, more repercussions could be felt as bloggers wondered whether Obama would usher in a new, more open type of government.
I was very interested in all the remarks about Linux tips.
As someone coming late to the game, I am just now gathering information and advice to set up my first Linux box.
It would be great to have commentary and tips like this around when I get educated enough to understand and appreciate them.
Is there any compilation of such info out there or being considered?
Seems like a logical and useful project for some Linux evangelist.
BTW: I am pretty settled on starting with UBUNTU and perhaps later seeing if I can get Tiny Linux running on my old Sony Vaio 505T.
Any comments, suggestions or other remarks welcome and appreciated. You can send them directly to me at akcoyote@gmail.com if you like.
