CRM Report: NBCi Acquires Husdawg Communications

NBCi Internet, Inc. (Nasdaq: NBCI), the Internet network arm of NBC, announced Tuesday that it has acquired Husdawg Communications, a CRM provider for the computer hardware and software industry.

The network said the acquisition will strengthen NBCi Direct's ability to market e-commerce services to computer hardware and software companies. Husdawg Communications counts Mattel Interactive, Logitech, H&R Block and GT Interactive as customers.

Founded in 1991, Husdawg provides products and services that increase registration rates by including customized registration as part of the software or hardware installation process. NBCi directs e-mail lists to over nine million customers who have given their permission to accept targeted e-commerce offerings.
