Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) Latest News about Apple will launch a Europe version of its online music download service iTunes on June 15th. It is a move that is likely to boost sales of its popular iPod portable music player.

The debut of Apple's iTunes in Europe, reported to be set for June 15th, would extend Apple's lead in online music sales and provide a source for legal downloads of music -- something that has been largely absent in this in Europe up until a few weeks ago when Roxio launched a version of Napster there.

Apple, much like what Roxio had done with Napster, scheduled a London media conference to announce the launch of iTunes Europe.
