ParaSoft Announces Integrated E-Commerce Tool

ParaSoft, a Monrovia, California-based software developer, announced the launch of Internet Store, an integrated e-commerce solution that ties directly into a Web store’s inventory database, and automatically updates online catalog information in real time.

The company claims that this new product could prevent “double-selling” of items that may occur through simultaneous online purchases, or by maintaining separate inventories for online and offline stores.

Internet Store streamlines online store management through its integrated system. When a customer makes an online purchase, the retailer is instantly notified and the inventory is automatically adjusted to reflect the transaction in real time.

The new e-commerce tool is positioned as a turnkey solution, offering a shopping cart, and a secure payment processing system, and also generates marketing data, such as “virtual basket” analysis, demographic breakdowns, and a mailing list.
