Stock Watch: Autobytel Slips as CFO Resigns

Autobytel.com (Nasdaq: ABTL) was down 1/4 at 6 9/16 early Monday after the online auto site said its chief financial officer, Hoshi Printer, resigned to become CFO at BestOffer.com, a Web operation that helps consumers buy and sell cars.

Controller Amit Kothari will serve as interim CFO, the Irvine, California-based company said.

While Printer said that Autobytel has a “bright future,” he opted to work with an early-stage company and help build a new organization.
