Stock Watch: ePlus Rises on Strong Q4 Results

ePlus, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLUS) gained 3 1/2 to 27 1/2 Thursday after the Herndon, Virginia-based e-commerce software maker reported increases in revenue and net income for the quarter and year ended March 31st.

For the quarter, revenue rose 74 percent, while net income advanced 26 percent to $2.41 million, or 30 cents per share, from $1.91 million, or 26 cents, in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue for the full year was 37 percent higher than in the prior year, and net income rose 25 percent.

“We continue to have excellent growth in all of our business units,” said Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Phillip G. Norton.
