Network Commerce, Inc. (Nasdaq: NWKC) rose 25/32 to 6 9/16 Tuesday after the Seattle, Washington-based e-commerce company said it has seen “tremendous growth” in both its business and consumer networks in the second quarter.
More than 10,000 businesses and sellers are using the company’s business network, while its consumer network is adding more than 25,000 registered users a day, Network Commerce said.
“We are expecting this momentum to continue through the rest of 2000, and believe we will report strong financial results in the third or fourth week in July,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dwayne Walker.
Network Commerce operates B2B site Ubarter.com and consumer sites ShopNow.com and BottomDollar.com, among others. It also has consulting and marketing services.
