SolydXK is a Debian-based distribution with a choice of Xfce or KDE desktops. Both versions are simple to use and offer dependable and consistent performance. SolydX and SolydK are Debian Buster-based Linux OSes with the Xfce and KDE desktops respectively. The SolydXK distro is a solid open source alternative for small businesses, nonprofit organizations and home users. The distro’s developer team lacks an enterprise business structure and costly tech support services that come with business options such as Red Hat and Ubuntu Linux.
I'm 100% behind this. So many distros promise stability but don't deliver to the point they would encounter a law suit for misrepresentation in a commercial sense. Also, SolydK is one of the few distros on my machines that delivers decent fonts without having to mess with the DPI settings and then sometimes with no effect. The instalation is logical even for dual boot setups and ends without any dreaded Grub errors. Thereafter everything works as promised. An excellent system for every day home and work use.
